Great First Month

Kelly Johnson

I sure missed the boat on the Braves second baseman job. I failed to even mention the possibility of Kelly Johnson getting moved from the outfield to second. Well, as you all know now, he was moved and it could not be working out better for the Braves. Kelly currently has the sixth highest OPS in the entire NL, and has the best OBP for leaoff hitters in the majors. With 5 homeruns and 26 trips safely across the plate it is hard to argue against Kelly being in the discussion when All Stars are brought up.
