It is time to introduce a new series here at The Sports Idiot, and in our inaugural installment of Douche Bag of The Week, we bring you Sean Avery of the Dallas Stars. Find out why after the jump.Sean Avery is a 28 year old center for the Dallas Stars. He also has the label of the most hated player in the NHL, which he relishes. Apparently dude also used to date one of The Sports Idiot’s favorite young ladies, Elisha Cuthbert. Dude also likes to talk shit, and it seems that he has put his foot in his mouth head up his ass once more.
It seems that Avery went up to a group of reporters that were waiting to ask him questions about his recent comments towards Calgary’s Jarome Iginla (he called him boring or something, which is ironic, because I find that boring). Avery, smooth cat that he is, asked if there were any cameras present. Of course, there were, and then we got this gem from Avery:
“I’m really happy to be back in Calgary; I love Canada,” the Ontario native said. “I just want to comment on how it’s become like a common thing in the NHL for guys to fall in love with my sloppy seconds. I don’t know what that’s about, but enjoy the game tonight.”
Sloppy seconds? Wow. I hope dude enjoys his vacation, because the NHL has suspended him indefinitely for his comments about Cuthbert, which we are also offended by. Elisha Cuthbert is a fine, upstanding young lady and Avery’s comments have earned him a new title, Douche Bag of The Week.

Come on, Champs. You know you laughed when you read it. Elisha is hot, but she’s also a cleat (skate?) chaser. Maybe if she didn’t dig guys who are missing teeth and rock mullets, I would feel sorry for her. But, as it is, that’s what you get when you bang Canadians.
I never said I feel sorry for her, S&P, just that she is one of THEE blog’s favorites and that dude is a douche.
