Nate Irving the ACC’s 19th Best Player?

Well, according to Heather Dinich he is.  Give Heather some credit, it is not easy to rank the 30 best players in a 12 team conference, especially when each team has 105 total players.  All in all, a good quick read from Heather about Irving, who Wolfpack Nation has high expectations for in 2009.  As more NC State players make the list, we will do our best to bring them to you.

I’m really excited about this season. With Irving and the return of Willie Young to the defensive line the Wolfpack should have very good defense. I think the high expectations are warranted this year.

Can’t wait to see if TOB can find a way to play both Wilson and Glennon. If Glennon is good as advertised it good be one hell of a two headed monster. I’m not one for playing two QB’s, but this could be intriguing.

The defense will be great…against the run. The DBs are the same guys from last year, which should be one of the only real causes for concern on what should be one of the better teams in the ACC.
