Carl Crawford stole six bases yesterday. Six. That brings his total to 17 on the year if you are counting, which you should be. Carl was 4/4 with two runs scored, an RBI, a walk, and did not strike out a single time in yesterday’s win over Boston.
Dude is having a great start to the 2009 season. He leads the Majors with those 17 bags nabbed, and is hitting .317 with 16 runs and 11 RBIs. Sure, he has not going deep yet and his OPS is only .769, but you can afford to give a little there for the help in SB, AVG and Runs. Crawford is set to have a huge year, so good work by you if he graces your roster.
