Atlanta Braves GM Frank Wren reiterated today that he will not part with any of his top prospects, even if it meant bringing Jake Peavy home where he belongs. I am not sure who he plans on offering for Peavy, but if he lets this opportunity pass him by it will be a huge mistake in my eyes. Peavy, 27, is poised to be an ace for the next 10 years. More after the jump. The San Diego Padres have officially placed Jake Peavy on the trading blocks. Those that know me well, know that I have been salivating over Peavy for years now. The Semmes, Alabama native has stated in the past that he grew up dreaming to pitch for the Atlanta Braves, and according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution the Braves and Pads have already begun talks that could bring him home where he belongs. Hit the jump for my thoughts and any updates.
